Tactics & Matchups: Warner has had starts this season but a big score has eluded him. In order to have another crack on Sunday, he will have to get through Ravichandran Ashwin. The offspinner has had a pretty good record against the left-hander having kept him tied down. Kedar Jadhav didn’t get a chance to bat on his debut for SRH and the management will be keen on giving him a proper go.

Unavailable: T Natarajan has been ruled out of the tournament with a knee injury. Abdul Samad missed the last game with a hamstring issue and is unlikely to be rushed back.

Probable XI: David Warner (c), Jonny Bairstow (wk), Kane Williamson, Virat Singh, Vijay Shankar, Abhishek Sharma, Kedar Jadhav, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Khaleel Ahmed, Siddarth Kaul.

Delhi Capitals

Tactics & Matchups: It is imperative for the Capitals to ensure Steve Smith hangs in there to take on Rashid Khan. Being the best batsman against spin in that lineup, DC will have to use Smith to handle the opposition’s biggest threat, especially on this surface. Avesh Khan has been reliable at the death for the Capitals this season. On current form, he will be expected to come out on top against the vulnerable SRH finishers. Axar Patel has joined the group but with Lalit Yadav and Amit Mishra doing well, the left-arm spinner is not expected to break into the XI straightaway.

Probable XI: Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Steven Smith, Rishabh Pant (c & wk), Marcus Stoinis, Shimron Hetmyer, Lalit Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kagiso Rabada, Amit Mishra, Avesh Khan.
